Our working lunches
Community Base's working lunches are a chance for people from local community and voluntary groups to discuss a topic of interest with a guest speaker over a free spot of lunch. Places are limited and must be booked in advance.
Our working lunches aren't training sessions and don't revolve around powerpoint presentations or flipcharts - they're a chance to have a freeflowing discussion with someone who knows a lot about a subject in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
In the past we have had working lunches on independence in the community and voluntary sector with Andy Benson of the National Coalition for Independent Action, reducing your organisation's environmental impact with Karen Gardham of Green Minded, unions in the community and voluntary sector with Mike Short of UNISON, working with the media with Steve Bustin of Vada Media, internet security with Sussex Community Internet Project, fundraising with the Working Together Project and charity accounting with accountants Clark Brownscombe.
