About this volunteering opportunity

There will be apple prep and juicing all day. In the morning session we also need people to help with getting kit out and putting up signs, getting bins laid out, tents laid out, transporting cider, setting up bar and other practical stuff.

About this organisation

Brighton Permaculture Trust is a charity that promotes greener lifestyles and sustainable development through design. We run courses and events and apply permaculture principles to our projects.

We are run by an experienced team of volunteers and permaculturists, supported by a management group and trustees, and resourced through course/event fees, grants and donations.

Induction, training and support offered with this opportunity

All tasks will be discussed on the day and help and support will be given as required.

Skills or experience needed for this opportunity

People with practical skills in event crewing, carpentry, heavy lifting and driving would be particularly useful in the morning session, plus people who love chopping apples and juicing welcome all day! Sense of humour essential!
