About this volunteering opportunity

Without volunteers we cannot run our social groups. We are looking for people who can spare a few hours a month to help us keep our social groups running. Our members are blind and partially sighted and for many, the social group is the only time they get out of their home in the month. We urgently need:

General helpers to help with refreshments, washing up, and conversation with members

Help with developing and facilitating activities such as skittles, quizzes and bingo sessions.

People to help guide our members to their seats.

Volunteer drivers to bring members to the halls

Volunteers to make a monthly telephone call to our members.
