Volunteer Massage Therapists with The Sussex Beacon


About this volunteering opportunity

We are looking for experienced motivated volunteer massage therapists to join our friendly and expanding volunteer team You will need to be experienced as registered therapist and a mature and caring professional. Additional qualifications
in Shiatsu and Cranial therapy would be welcome. we would like you to provide massage therapy for our clients and staff.

About this organisation

The Sussex Beacon provides specialist care and support for clients who are HIV positive and have a range of other physical and psychological problems.

Induction, training and support offered with this opportunity

We will offer a 3 week induction period and full support throughout your volunteering period including regular informal supervision and further supervision with our Senior Project Coordinator if required.

Skills or experience needed for this opportunity

You will need to have :- Diploma level qualifications.
Public liability and professional indemnity insurance.
At least 1 years experience as a remedial massage therapist.
An interest in health and wellbeing.
A current DBS or be willing to apply for a free one through us..
