The Posh Club Brighton Volunteer with The Posh Club Brighton

About this volunteering opportunity

Volunteering at The Posh Club is a lot of fun! Volunteers usually attend between 8.30am and 4pm but there is flexibility with times, you can volunteer on the odd occasion (or as a one off) or make it a regular thing. The Posh Club runs weekly on Thursdays in April, June, August, October and December. Volunteers help set up the venue, dress the tables and set out the vintage crockery to make the venue look like The Ritz in the 1950s! Volunteer roles include serving guests, doing the infamous cake dance (optional!), making our guests feel like VIPs, helping out in the kitchen, dancing with guests, helping to sign people in at the door and take bookings. All volunteers and staff wear black and white to tie in with the theme! We have roles to suit everyone, and we have volunteers of all ages and backgrounds. The venue is fully accessible, we reimburse travel expenses, you will be well fed with sandwiches and champagne! Expect to work hard but have a lot of fun, getting to see some of the best cabaret acts in town and helping older people to feel less socially isolated. For many of our guests this is the only time that they get out and socialise during the week, so our volunteers really do make a difference to their lives. Come and give it a try!
