About this volunteering opportunity

We are looking for a volunteer to help facilitate some art and craft sessions with our elderly blind and partially sighted group. They meet on the third Friday of the month 2.30 to 4.30pm at the Somerset Centre, Kemptown area. For many of the group, sight loss has taken away the confidence to partake in creative activities. We would like to rekindle their enjoyment of being able to make and create something again.

About this organisation

ESAB is the local society that provides advice, information, and support to local sight impaired people. We offer training courses to develop skills and increase confidence, Social activities, aids and equipment service and a home visiting service in the Brighton & Hove area
