About this volunteering opportunity

The main task will be working in our shop, serving customers, stocking up, preparing clothes and bric-a-brac for sale. It will also involve some stock room work.

We also need help with basic DIY work providing the volunteer has the appropriate skills

About this organisation

We are a Registerd Charity that offers a variety of courses in the arts and wellbeing. We also run an ethical gift shop and a charity shop.

Induction, training and support offered with this opportunity

We offer basic induction necessary for shop and warehouse work. In addition training will be given on using our computer based till and inventory system. Training will also be offered in basic shop work ( Merchandising, stocking up, delivery processing and pricing of donated goods)

Skills or experience needed for this opportunity

Reasonable communication skills and ability to offer good customer service. Reasonable numercay and computer skills would be helpful but not essential.
