About this volunteering opportunity

We would like to invite you to consider a simple way of getting involved in your local community. We are a good neighbour befriending scheme that supports isolated older people by recruiting local people like you to visit them for an hour or two each week.

Our current volunteers might pop in for a chat and a cuppa, accompany someone to an appointment, or help with small odd jobs.

The Neighbourhood Care Scheme has expanded and offers befriending across the city; we are always looking for volunteers so get in touch!
