About this volunteering opportunity

To join the Events Cheering Team at one of the UK's top sporting events! This role is crucial in making sure our participants reach that finish line. You will be at the heart of the event, along the route cheering and supporting Guide Dog's participants - encouraging them to keep going! If you’ve got enthusiasm and the ability to make plenty of noise come along and join us.

About this organisation

Guide Dogs for the Blind will not rest until people who are blind or partially sighted can enjoy the same freedom of movement as everyone else. Our event participants can’t cross the finish line without the support of volunteers like you! Make it count for Guide Dogs by joining us at the Brighton Marathon. We simply couldn’t do it without the support of our amazing volunteers! Looking for new skills, new friends or just a fun day out? Simply get in touch!

Induction, training and support offered with this opportunity

You will be allocated an on the day supervisor and support throughout the event. 

Skills or experience needed for this opportunity

You don’t need any previous experience, simply the commitment to help on the day
