About this volunteering opportunity

Assistant Designer: You will need to have experience in using Adobe InDesign or another design software. A keen eye for colours, fonts, images etc. Not only will there be scope for designing the actual newsletter, but the design for the e-newsletter as well (on mailchimp software). Adverts, logos, etc This role would suit someone for a design background or artist with the ability to use computers and design software.

Journalists: Would suit people who are effective at written communications and an interest in researching stories within the field of mental health. As mentioned, the captive audience will be varied, so being able to communicate to a a wide spectrum of people is a must.

Sales and Marketing: People will need to be confident in approaching new people from a variety of backgrounds to promote JBM to raise income. This role would suit someone naturally warm and friendly. You'd need to be an excellent communicator in person over the phone and in written form as well.

Please note that you must have lived experience of mental health

About this organisation

Just be Mindful - Sharing useful information around all aspects of mental health. For both service users and providers. JBM will be focused purely on Mental Health and its related issues. It is aimed at service users and providers in Brighton and Hove City with the aim of expanding in the future. The captive age group will be 18 . I would like to distribute hard copies to the above area, but also soft copies around the UK.

Induction, training and support offered with this opportunity

Full training and induction will be offered. We already have a great team that would be happy to share their knowledge.
