About this volunteering opportunity

We have identified the need for a volunteer Treasurer to join our trustee board. The successful candidate will serve as Treasurer of the Crew Club and as a member of our governing body, the board of trustees. As Treasurer, you will oversee the financial matters of the charity in line with good practice and in accordance with The Crew Club’s governing document and legal requirements, as well as report to the Board of Trustees at regular intervals about the financial health of the organisation. You will also ensure that effective financial measures, controls and procedures are put in place, and are appropriate for the charity.

Time commitment: Full Board meetings are generally held bi?monthly. Meetings are in the evenings and have a purposeful but relaxed feel, they last a couple of hours. The Trustees also communicate by email on pressing issues.
We are particularly keen to achieve a more diverse board of trustees, and we welcome applications from all sections of the community.
The role is voluntary and unpaid.
