About this volunteering opportunity

As cafe reception worker you will be the first point of contact for our busy little community centre.  You will have some IT experience and help to run our small internet cafe.  You will serve coffees & teas and be capable of using a till for small transactions.  We ask that you are comfortable answering the phone and greeting people as they come to reception.

We are a community led organisation in Brighton providing information and advice about learning and work, and a range of support activities for adults. For those who are looking to go back to work we offer careers advice, employment support and a range of tailored resources.

Induction, training and support offered with this opportunity

We will offer a full induction and can pay for your travel.  You are also welcome to free tea & coffee all afternoon!

Skills or experience needed for this opportunity

The role requires excellent communication skills, excellent literacy & IT skills and an unflappable nature.
