Our South Wing meeting rooms
Community Base's South Wing provides high quality, affordable meeting rooms in the heart of Brighton seven days a week.
Our South Wing conference room has a capacity of 100, a sound system, video/dvd player, projector and screen, facilities for computer presentations and wireless internet access, toilets, baby changing facilities, a balcony, an induction loop and beautiful views over Brighton. As there are offices immediately under our conference room it is not suitable as a rehearsal space for singing, dancing, drumming or similar activities.
The conference room kitchen has reusable mugs, tumblers, plates and cutlery and a sink for washing up. As part of our commitment to reducing the carbon footprint of activities at Community Base we insist that no throwaway plates, cutlery or cups are used in our conference room.
We also have two smaller rooms in our South Wing, South Wing two and South Wing three, each with whiteboards and a capacity of 12.

Want to hire our meeting rooms?
Our conference room is available for hire to groups whether they licence space at Community Base or not. If your group wants to hire our conference room you first need to contact our receptionist.
Before booking one of our rooms you need to appoint a named person responsible for making bookings and all other matters, including payment, relating to your group's bookings. Once this named person has completed, signed and sent us an agreement for hiring our meeting rooms s/he can make bookings on behalf of your group.
Bookings by external groups must be for a minimum of three hours. External groups can usually only hire South Wing two or South Wing three if they hire the conference room at the same time.
In order to comply with Brighton and Hove City Council's rules, any department, group or partnership that pays for bookings through the council must give us a valid council payment code when making a booking.
