Our reception
Community Base reception is normally open from 8.30am to 4.30pm, Monday
to Friday. All general enquiries to Community Base are dealt with by our reception.
You can contact our receptionist/administrator Deborah Sprackling on (01273) 234002, internal phone extension 200 or by email.
Our reception provides information about groups at Community Base and a wide range of other matters. You can pick up copies of our poster guide to groups at Community Base and other local community services and translations of this guide into 12 languages from our reception. You can also browse volunteer opportunities with local community and voluntary groups in our Brighton and Hove volunteer search folders. Leaflets, posters and free periodicals are available to visitors to our reception.
If you want to put any printed material in our reception you should contact our receptionist. We do not advertise commercial activities. We can also sell tickets for community events - ask our receptionist for details.
Hundreds of people use our reception every week and we are acutely aware of the need for this important access point to a variety of local services to be a safe place for everyone using it. Anyone using or threatening violence or behaving in an aggressive manner in reception will be barred from Community Base. If you think your group may be visited by someone who could be threatening or violent you should tell our receptionist immediately.
