Policy on long service leave
- After seven years of continuous employment all Community Base staff will be entitled to paid long service leave.
- Long service leave is designed to reward and encourage long service by Community Base staff.
- Long service leave will accrue at a rate of five days for every full year of employment served.
- A staff member wishing to take long service leave must give their line manager sufficient notice of doing so to allow any arrangements necessary to cover their absence to be made.
- This policy will be reviewed by the board of trustees at least every calendar year.
