The Community Base phone system

Community Base has a phone system used by all groups in the building. You can find out how your Toshiba handset works here and how to speed dial on it here. You can find out about how to manage your voicemail here. If you have a problem with you phone or want to change your phone set up you should contact our receptionist

If you are unsure about how to programme your phone - don't! Our phone system can go wrong if people start playing around with it. Most phone problems at Community Base are cause by phone users programming their phones wrongly or by mistake. If you are new to our phone system or have any questions about how the phone system works you should contact the building manager who will be happy to explain things to you.

You can programme your phone to forward calls to your mobile phone or other external phone. First, store the number you want to forward to as your speed dial number 49 - see speed dialling. To forward calls press SPKR #670 on your phone. To stop calls being forwarded also press SPKR #670 . Your extension will be charged for calling the number you forward calls to..

Community Base publishes an internal phone directory.
