Head of HR, Learning & Development
BHT employs almost 300 members of staff. It has a small HR department made up of an HR Manager, HR Advisor and HR Assistant. In 2013/14 it co-ordinated the recruitment of 82 members of staff. The Department advises and assists managers on the full range of employment related matters, including absence management (an average of 6.97 per FTE in 2013/14) and disciplinary matters
Female Support Worker
Stopover supported housing for young women has four houses providing different levels of support from 24 hour cover to one hour a week. Young women often progress from one house to the next as they gain skills and so can live more independently. We have recently extended the service to include a house for young women and their babies and so need an additional support worker to join the dynamic and enthusiastic team who work across the service.
The purpose of the Fulfilling Lives Project, funded by The Big Lottery is to bring about the lasting change in how services work with people with multiple and complex needs. The project will operate in Brighton and Hove, Eastbourne and Hastings and will be delivered by different delivery partners in each area.
